Field Notes

Description:

A blue/green color dragon fly gadding about a small neighborhood lake in a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee. The wings are black. There were several of them flying about. I saw 8-10 of this type.
.

Habitat:

Bellevue, Tennessee. Woodsy area with a small lake that has ducks and geese.

Notes:

During this siting, I also spotted another species that was entirely black, except for one white dot atop its wings. That photo came out too blurry.
