Field Notes

Description:

It is a plant that is about 24 cm long with little clumps of flowers. The stem is green and the flowers are bright yellow. The Blue-Stemmed Goldenrod starts as a seed and grows into a light green stem then it grows and then the yellow flowers come in.

Habitat:

It grows in rich deciduous forests.
