Description:

Modified leaves shaped into tubes that have a liquid in them that attracts insects, which the plant then eats. Flowers are yellow and hang upside down.

Habitat:

In a bog (sandy/muddy soil that is always wet) with full sun surrounded by oak forest.

Thanks Luis and Dan! There were way more than my photos show, plus there's another bog about 1/2 mile away that has even more of them!
Great find! And I thought they existed only in tropical forest.
