Description:

This flower is bright red with an interesting center. It has a white bulb with small like hairs a dark color. They are along a very long vine with bright green large leaves.

Habitat:

Along the bay

Notes:

Really beautiful and interesting flower. I loved the red color. Not sure which type it is.

dandoucette, I think you are right, we have like 48 species of Passiflora in Costa Rica, I was comparing it to mine and that is not the species spotted here. Now I am very curious about mine!!??
The leaf in the bottom right looks like a match with P. vitifolia, serrate, three-lobed, up to 15 cm long and 18 cm broad.
It looks a lot like my Red Passion Flower, but none of the leaves in the picture are right, the leaves are medium/soft very green large spade shape with serrated edges.
