Wildlife Spotting

Chicks of an as yet undetermined species.
The head pattern does not match Black-headed Gull or Common Tern seen on the same day but it may change with age, Legs are not long enough for Black-winged Stilt. They do not have the white necks of the small Plovers.
Other breeding birds there include Sandwich, Little and Whiskered Terns, Slender-billed, Mediterranean and Yellow-legged Gulls, Pratincoles, Turnstones, Avocets, numerous duck species etc.
