Description:

The adult sawfy feeds on nectar. The body is about 8 mm long with orange body and a black head. The legs have black rings. They have 4 wings with a black band at the front of the forewings.

Habitat:

Beside the cemetery on Canadian Goldenrod.

Notes:

Norwegian name: N⁠epebladveps
