Field Notes

Description:

The male is more visible in south of the central mountain range, whilst the female is more visible in the northern low country dry zone. The male has a stronger flight when compared with the female. Males settle on damp patches on the ground but the female seldom do so.

Habitat:

found on moist sand of a river bank
