Description:

this is a tadpole, halfway from becoming a frog. My question is what is the name for the half frog, half tadpole

Species ID Suggestions

Gray/Cope's Gray Tree Frog

Hyla versicolor/chrysoscelis

Comments (2)

They are called froglets when they are metamorphosing like this, and this is a tree frog froglet, you can tell by the enlarged toe pads. Two species are in your area and you can't tell them apart
