Description:

Sedum is a large genus of leaf succulents flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae, members of which are commonly known as stonecrops. There are up to 600 species at the Northern Hemisphere. The plants have water-storing leaves. The flowers are white and have five petals. There are ten stamens.

S. hirsutum is hairy-glandulose and sometims viscous. Stems up to 15 cm grow at the center of basal leaves.

Habitat:

Usually found or rocky crevices. Spotted on a granite rock, pine tre forest (Pinus sylvestris) at 1600 m. high. Parque Nacional de Sierra de Guadarrama
