Field Notes

Description:

Small hylid frog covered in mud. It appears to have brown and green coloration as well as banding along the hindlegs. Skin texture is bumpy and snout is pointed.

Habitat:

Sitting in a mud puddle (in a flood plain on a dirt road which has been flooded for months). Several tadpoles nearby. Surrounded by dense mixed hardwood forest with a seasonal stream nearby.
