I'd like to ID the little winged guys on its back, even if not to species level; I'm just curious about as to what they may be. Some sort of parasitic fly perhaps?

Coreidae, looks like being Acanthocephala sp., but probably not the one from link. Yours has no red "feet". https://thingsbiological.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/giantagavebug2011.jpeg
