Field Notes

Description:

I was only able to view the underside which was a faded gray brown on the hind wing, with some small eyespots near the outer edge. Forewing is orange color with one small dark eyespot and faded gray brown edging. The abdomen is large like skipper. Eyes looked gray.

Habitat:

Spotted in a grassy field at high elevation.
