Field Notes

Description:

In the first picture, the spider can be seen on the upper left of his accumulation of trash - both spider and trash (web decoration) are on the front of the web, facing the camera. The other two pictures were taken from the back and are not cropped so much so that the structure of the stabilimentum (spider silk decoration) can be seen better.

Habitat:

Spotted in the rice mill backyard on a clump of Spiny Bamboo (Bambusa blumeana), locally known as Kawan Tinik.
