Dear Johan and Stho. I have received some support from a chrysis forum, and after looking at those pictures I got this reply: "Unfortunately I cannot be sure about the identification without specimen examination. It should belong to the genus Chrysis, capitalis group, but also this ID should be confirmed. In fact, I cannot exclude that it belongs to the genus Chrysidea, since I cannot see the nervures on the wings. For sure it is not Stilbum cyanurum, which is the largest African species, with 4 teeth on the anal margin of the abdomen and a large metanotal projection." Thank you Paolo for this new information!
Thank you Marta :) Indeed, super-tiny!
Thank you very much Luis! And Riekos, this is a small miracle for sure :)
I think my spotting is the same one (it is still unknown). We are so far apart and I am excited to know that you and I found the same creature! http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/40256013
