Description:

Black, white, and orange caterpillar that resembles a mini Schnauzer.

Habitat:

Dogbane plant.

Notes:

"The milkweed tussock moth caterpillar (Euchaetes egle) gets chemicals from plants like milkweed and dogbane that protect the moth from being eaten by bats. The moth is also called the milkweed tiger moth."
