Field Notes

Notes:

Last night I heard a very loud 'barking' sound coming from the front garden, and when I went out to investigate I found this frog. Green Tree Frogs normally croak, but I have heard the 'bark' before - I think it is a stress call. As it turned out, there was a cane toad about a foot away from it (see shot 2), but I think the frog was safe because, as far as I know, cane toads can't climb trees!!
