Description:

These two were pecking away on a Cherry tree in Burlington Ontario. Anyone know what kind of Woodpecker? Are the juveniles?

They both look like adults. Immatures lack the black bib, but even though these two have their chests puffed out, you can still see the outside of the bib on the chest.
Ah, great thanks for that - would have been my next question. They were are to snap a picture - ever time I tried to get a little closer they zipped away, not to mention how quickly they go round and round on the tree.
That's is what I wondering - I had only ever seen one once before! Thank you! Do you know if they are juveniles or adults?
Male on the right, you can tell by his red throat. Then the one on the left is a female.
