Description:

radinopyga strachani, the Red Rockdweller, is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, possibly Ethiopia, and possibly Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and inland karsts.

Notes:

This is a female. Red Rockdwellers are the most abundant dragonflies in this part.
