Small clearing, mixed evergreen deciduous forest 1560 MASL (Wat San Ku ruin)

Nice ladybird beetle, Rob. I am sorry I can't find much information on this species, except for a photo on the web. Looks very much like yours with 12 spots. I searched for Ladybird beetles Thailand and found a matching image. Hope you can get confirmation.
