Field Notes

Description:

A slender green katydid with a white stripe running along the midline and lateral aspect of the thorax. Each fore wing shows strong white stripes with a red lower margin, one running along the middle and the other, along the outer edge of the wing.
Long antennae were a pale yellow.

Habitat:

Spotted on the outer wall of a building near a national park. Attracted to bright night lights.
