Field Notes

Description:

Photographed this beautiful Damselfly in Agumbe. They could be found everywhere in the jungle. However not all of them were as cooperative as this guy :-D

The males would often engage in a close-quarter in-flight face-off , flashing the brilliant coloration on the wings at each other and flitting over and around the stream. Sometimes 3 males would flash colors at each other just few inches above the stream. It was such a beautiful sight. :-)

Couldn't get a decent picture of the female this time :-(

Habitat:

Evergreen forest
