Description:

The Ebony Jewel wing is a very beautifully colored species of damselfly. Their wings go more tow ards the back and not straight out. Can get up to 2 inches in length throughout their whole life. The ebony jewelwing has a very unique color. The male is bright turquoise. Females have a brownish color to them.

Habitat:

There were several of these Ebony jewel wing damselflies in the woods along a stream at Muddy Run Park, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
