Field Notes

Description:

Pale yellow, fragile moth about 1.5 cm long. It had been injured somehow on the thorax. I think the third picture is of the female (based on the antennae), which was of a more pale yellow than the male . They were about the same size and both came to the light on the same night. I hadn't ever seen this species before.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
