Description:

olive grey with yellowish spots or is it mottled? Bluish antenna,large,nocturnal. Seen for the first time . Looks like a non native from UK. The yellow slug from UK.

I agree Hema, looks a LOT like Limacus flavus or Limax flavus. Possibly invasive? If so, good to record.
Is the " pneumostome " anterior or posterior to the midpoint of the mantle?

Kind of looks like some kind of banana slug, Hema :) There are some big native slugs on the west coast. That spot on the side of the mantle looks kind of like a pneumostome to me. ??? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_slug
