Field Notes
Description:
I was very jealous of my friend and fellow Ranger Juan di Trani, for his wonderful photos of parasitic wasp larvae emmerging from a caterpillar's body. Well, today I found one miself, and I could to take some photos too. Not as good as Juan's, but still very dramatic, I think. In the photos it is possible to see some larvae almost entirely covered by silk, and others still naked.
