Description:
Hardy and tall (about 120 to 130 cm approx) herbaceous plant; at this stage only the pale yellow-green fruits are visible, as leaves are drying up.
Habitat:
Here, seen in a small valley in Jura mountain Range, around the lake Lamoura, in a humid meadow near the peatbog. The lake Lamoura is of glacial origin and is the highest altitude lake in Jura Mountain range, at 1156m. Its valley is surrounded by a coniferous forest, and the majority of valley is occupied by grassland, while some of the lake shores are peat-bogs. The site of Lamoura Lake has been designated as a Natura 2000 area, in order to protect this fragile peatbog ecosystem.
Notes:
All parts of this plant are poisonous, and provoking vomiting and nausea in most of cases of ingestion.
