Field Notes

Description:

This Polyclad flatworm was about 4 cm long. Molted brown and gray it blended into the rock colors very well. Pic 3 is cropped to see the eyes.

Habitat:

Spotted in tide pools at the Tongue Point Marine Life Sanctuary.

Notes:

Preys on small limpets, barnacles and other invertebrates.
