Field Notes

Description:

Two small ( about 10 mm wide) bright yellow mushrooms reowing on wood. Caps were smooth with darker centres. Stipes were yellow with small white fibrils and some mycelia at the base. Gills were white, adnexed.
Spore print was a pale pinkish-brown.

Habitat:

Growing on a decaying damp piece of eucalyptus wood.

Notes:

A wood rotting fungus growing occasionally in groups.
