Field Notes

Description:

Upto 180mm tall. White soft fibrous stem flesh. Pale flaking scales on cap in dry weather, flat in wet. Stem is hollow, 10-15mm across.

Habitat:

Grass verges, edges of footpaths and open woodland. Often in small groups or wandering lines
