Description:
A flowering plant in the poppy family. The plant is covered with spines, often densely. The blue-green leaves are divided into sharp, toothlike lobes. Grows up to 4 ft tall.
Habitat:
Spotted in a meadow at Patagonia, Arizona.
Notes:
Native to New Mexico and Arizona.
