Field Notes

Description:

Beige and chocolate colours...a pleasing combination. But at first glance the chocolate patches seem like holes! A rust coloured patch on the middle of the head. Small, quiet moth.

Habitat:

Borong, located at an altitude of 5800 feet in South Sikkim. It is pretty remote and untouched. Lots of wild vegetation. Rains a lot. Moths love it here. They sit for hours on the wall of the resort.
