Description:

Witch Hazel is fire resistant because of its thin bark, roots close to the grounds surface and a low brance envirment. Witch Hazel is used for medicine taken by the mouth or directly on the skin, it usually is sold in a bottle in drug stores.

Habitat:

Witch Hazel is often found in mid-western United States and Southern Canada. The soil needs to have low or moderate moisture.
