That means when you can identify if they are Western, Semipalmated, and Least Sandpipers
Thanks for the link ,jellis. The wikipedia says that they are collectively known as "Peeps"
Don't think peeps are their names

nickname for small shorebirds are "peeps" because of the sound and size. Not likely chicks. Too late in the year. Yellow legs suggest Least but need confirmation
jellis,they were hanging around with kildeers and making squeaky peeps. Therefore i thought these were kildeer chicks, In terms of size ,look very tiny compared to kildeers, My kildeer spotting shows both together, Could be least Sandpipers . Thanks for your feedback Jellis!
