Field Notes

Description:

Light yellow flower ~ 1 inch tall and nearly as wide growing from a pinecone-shaped flower head.

Habitat:

Suburban area on a mesic, tropical, insular lowland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted in my back garden. A couple of these ginger plants appeared without having been planted.
