Field Notes

Description:

A metallic bronze beetle with a very bright blue abdomen.
This beetle was stretching its wings and not about to fly off.

Habitat:

Among flowers of prickly acacia (see pic 3).
Several of these were found on a hilltop.

Notes:

There were also brighter greener beetles with the same profile. Possibly this is female and the brighter one is male.
