Description:

Family: Saturniidae, Subfamily: Hemileucinae. Wingspan: 50-80 mm. Sexually dimorphic. Male. Forewing is yellow. Yellow Hindwing has a red streak along inner margin and large blue eyspots boldy outlined in black. Hosts: Deciduous trees. Adult do not have mouthparts.

Habitat:

Comes from woodlands. Came to light.
