Field Notes

Description:

A brown Tussock moth at about 15 mm in length. Thorax "bald" but with long hairs on the side.

Habitat:

Sukau forest, Lower Kinabatangan, Sabah. Found it in a room in Sukau Bed&Breafast, attracted to the night lights.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 10m diameter. Formerly under the family Lymantriidae but after this family has been "abolished", this species has relocated into Erebidae.
