The leaf-nosed lizard is a endemic lizard to Sri Lanka. It has a leaf-like appendage on the end of its nose.

This spotting is being featured as a PN Fun Fact: Project Noah Fun Fact: The leaf-nosed lizard is an arboreal, slow moving lizard of the wet, tropical, montane cloud forests of Sri Lanka. The genus name Ceratophora, means horn bearer and refers to the leaf-like appendage on its nose. These lizards are endangered and efforts are in place to currently protect their habitat.
