Description:

The Owl Butterfly has two very distinctive spots on its outer wings that resemble the eyes of an owl.

Habitat:

Amazon rain forest

Notes:

When threatened, the butterfly wil spread its wings and mimick the face of an owl, thus scaring away small predators and birds.
