Wonderpus

This was the first time for me to encounter a female Wonderpus brooding eggs. Looks fresh and plenty of them. Like most species of Octopus, the female only lays one batch of egg in her life span, brooding them during the incubation period and will not eat anymore. She will eventually dies when the eggs are ready to hatch.

From the tiny size of the eggs and huge clutch she is brooding, its probably thousands of eggs or even tens of thousands of eggs.
