Field Notes

Description:

Very similar to the Southern Emerald Moth, but this one has a lovely scalloped red border around the wings, and 3 red-bordered white dots on the body. A bit over an inch long.

Habitat:

My front porch, which faces west, in the morning. It seems to be a popular place for interesting moths each morning!
