Description:
The Bay-backed Shrike is the smallest Indian shrike.It is brownish-maroon above with a pale rump and long black tail with white edges.The under body is white,with buff flanks.The crown and nape are grey,and the bill and legs are dark grey.
Habitat:
Thinly wooded scrub country, around cultivation.
