Field Notes

Description:

Fairly small hawk with brown eyes, yellow cere, mottled brown and white chest and belly, back and wings brown. Tail striped black and white when in flight.

Habitat:

Urban, lots of big trees with a forest nearby.

Notes:

Lots of American Robins and Common Grackles chasing the hawk.
