Field Notes

Description:

A bird that looked to be about 4 - 6 weeks old. Probably a sparrow.

Habitat:

Northwest Michigan lower peninsula. Backyard habitat with varying landscapes, lots of trees, lots of shade areas.

Notes:

He was sitting in one of the bird feeders. He even took a nap for a few minutes there. He seemed quite comfortable and allowed me to get pretty close to snap a few photos. He was very fuzzy. There are lots of birds that frequent the feeders regularly so I am not sure exactly what species of bird this is.
