Description:
One of many Fowler's toads I've encountered recently in my yard, near McCalla, Alabama. Most of the ones I've seen are active during the day, although I haven't encountered them during the hottest parts of the day — mostly morning and evening.
Habitat:
Found in a wildflower area of my yard, amidst a mix of pine and oak forest.
