Description:

Running late as I arrived at work, but still had to stop and get a few photos of this beautiful katydid perched on the next car. Female. A friend of mine texted me a photo two days earlier of a male katy of the same species perched on his truck as he refueled ... must be a lot of them around just now.

Just noticed, in the fourth photo you can see a reflection of the katy's face in the car's chrome hubcaps... looks like a face Dr. Seuss might have drawn.
