Field Notes

Description:

Looks like a cauliflower from Lilliput Lane. The peripheral part is pale yellow. The centre is dry and brown. Could not see any insect associated with this.

Habitat:

On a Passionflower vine in my garden...is it a gall of some kind?

Notes:

I am very intrigued...can anyone point me in the right direction, please.
