Description:

A rare greenhood in Victoria, very similar to P. melomelagrama but the labellum is green rather dark brown-black, also the folds within the hood do not touch in P. smargdyna. See http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/431386033

Pic 2 shows a flower once the labellum has triggered trapping an insect inside. The labellum may reset several times during the lifetime of the flower.
