Species ID Suggestions

Thanks, it's difficult to say due to the state the body was in, but it may be an evening bat or an Indiana as listed, thanks for the ID link :)
Before this bat is listed as a certain species, it would need to be confirmed. Indiana bats are very similar to Little Brown bats, and requires seeing the calcar. Listed here are various species that occur in Kentucky, and physical characteristics that can be used to narrow down to possibly genus: http://www.batcon.org/index.php/all-about-bats/species-profiles.html?country=43&state=21&family=all&limitstart=0&sort= Good find by the way.
It's size, color, ears and nose shape along with its location meaning where Indiana bats have been seen before, I'm not sure how it died my guess from it's location on the wall is disease :(
Please describe what characteristics you used to identify the species. Size? Any idea of how it was killed?
