Field Notes

Description:

They are reddish, orange or yellowish grizzled with black in their back side. Very tiny, pig-like tail black.
They use strong odor to deter predators and they are considered excellent seed dispersing animals as they eat fruits and vegetables of all types.

Habitat:

Manuel Antonio national Park.
